The Irving K. Barber British Columbia Scholarship Society, in partnership with the Victoria Foundation, hosts a suite of international scholarships designed to support students from BC in studying abroad. Successful applicants must clearly demonstrate academic merit as well as significant involvement in their community and/or school.

The purpose of the award is to recognize excellence and achievement by a Treaty First Nations person, and to encourage and assist Treaty First Nations people in the pursuit of post-secondary education studies in one/both of the following areas: Law and/or Political Science.

For students with a strong background in marine sciences or oceanography.

For students with a record of leadership in clubs, sports, student government, campus organizations, etc.

The Brucebo funds a three months’ working residency at the Brucebo studio cottage in the Själsö fishing village, seven km north of the Hanseatic and Medieval City of Visby.

In memory of Hiliary Echo Douglas, a study abroad advocate, beloved daughter, wife, mother, and colleague.

Diversity Abroad, in cooperation with the AIFS Foundation, will offer five scholarships for each fall and spring semester.

The Gilman Scholarship Program aims to diversify the kinds of students who study and intern abroad and the countries and regions where they go by offering awards to U.S. undergraduates who might otherwise not participate due to financial constraints.

Made possible by the generous support and fundraising efforts of international educators working in Minnesota.

Students may be awarded merit-based aid if they maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Additional consideration will be given to those students demonstrating leadership within their campus or community.
